Stanley Clarke came to be known as one of the best bass players EVER. Just listen to School Days and Journey To Forever to see what I mean. Children Of Forever is supposed to be his first solo album, but it sounds like one of the RTF albums (maybe 'cause Chick is on there?)

Definitely Chick. His Elektric Band was pretty commercial. He is well-established in both Jazz and Fusion. But Al Di Meola has also a lot to look back at. And remember: career or fame are not measures for quality and creativity.

Tough choice, but I concur with Coroner.

RTF is one of my favourites btw, love to listen to their albums...

I loved RTF, and all of it's member, but for me Flora Purim is my favorite.
