Lady Gaga had a sellout 1 night show, that was expanded to 2 nights and once again sold out at The Palms this weekend. I wanted to see it, but there was no chance of getting tickets, but from the sound of things she might be being courted by the owner of The Palms casino to make a regular showing at The Palms. Maloof is a marketing genius, and if he wants her as a fixture I hope he gets her.

More likely a set number of appearances a year. Steve Wynn is rumored to be trying to nail down Beyonce for his showroom. She did a sold out weekend this Summer. These showrooms are about 1500-4000 seat venues, and alot more intimate for the performer and audience. They are also very lucrative for the performers and offer them some stability as opposed to being constantly on the road.
