Default What happened to Sunday night after hours in NYC?

I'm feeling a bit old even at 31 being it's been a few years since I unofficially ended my clubbing days and had no idea where to go tonight. I recall some crazy late Sunday/early Monday nights at the infamous venues many of you locals know.

It seems since my heyday that the club scene has changed even more than I thought. I got the urge to head into the city tonight for some drinks and trance/house music, but evidently I was too late to find a decent place to go even at 11pm. What is up with that? Is it so dry and dead that there's nowhere good to go on a Sunday night? Sunday-Shmunday, I say. (now I really sound old) There was some History of House event at Pacha with some old school DJ's, but that's just a bit before my scene which I experienced in my late teens and early 20's.

So, where is there to go and on what nights, and what the fuck happened to the after hours and Sundays? This inquiring mind wants to know. This inquiring mind has also grown weary of chilling at home or the infrequent, mundane local bar night in Jersey. I want to have fun again.

PS - Vinyl / Arc @ 6 Hubert St was the best. Nothing can compare.

Hiro has good house on Sunday nights. Honey Dijon spinning until 4am. After that, I'm a blank slate.

Had I known that I would have been there tonight. Went to a stupid bar near me, had a few shots, drank a beer, bought beer and went home.

NJ sucks for nightlife, especially on a Sunday.

What type of music is at Vandam?

Wow Dina, I didn't know Asseteria was still going on. Had some crazy times years ago when it was held elsewhere. Thanks.
