I've been lurking here for a while and would like to initiate peace talks between you two. What do you say?

You know, not for nothing. I tried to nip it in the bud and called her. If it started as a misunderstanding, we could have settled it offline. I texted her and said, "Have I done anything to make you upset?" She replied and said "why yes, but that's been awhile ago".

My thing was simple, IF it has been awhile ago (before she even returned here), why didn't she take the time to straighten this up? Instead of taking it here and used that issue as a reason to drum roll her return (and business) here on HA! I don't care for drama..but I'm not the type to sit in a corner either, when one is flaming me! An eye for an eye as they say.

Had she cared, she would have done it by now. I mean, how long has this drama dragged on? Its gotten tired by now. Same insults back and forth. How long can one beat a dead horse, really?

And let's step back and look at critics in a general way. At some point it is unproductive to respond to critics. I mean Obama could spend all of his time debating Rush Limbaugh and others, or he could take actions to accomplish his goals. Often time a critic is saying more about themselves in the nature of their criticism. And they often damage their own creditbility, by using 'low blows' etc. And sometimes they even take the posititions of their stated enemies. It is not always worth it to legitimize 'low blows', by responding. More people are more intelligent than you may think, to see behind sources of feuds. And few minds are changed by the actually engagment of the feud anyway. Unproductive energy.
