    Default Two police officers suspected of extorting money, molesting

    The Rio de Janeiro Court House ruled on Sunday (29) the temporary detention for a period of 30 days, two police officers suspected of extorting money from a 21 year-old, molesting her and shot in your face. The two were already imprisoned administratively 1st Battalion (Estacio).

    According to the commander of the 1st Battalion (Estacio), Lieutenant-Colonel Caesar Tanner, the police will be heard on Monday (30).

    The two officers then fled, leaving the couple on the spot. The Military Police said the victim was rescued by a biker and then taken to the hospital Lloyd George, in Barra da Tijuca, Zona Oeste. According to Lt. Col. Caesar Tanner, she is doing well and has been released.

    In a statement, the military police reported that the Commander General of the PM, Mario Sergio de Brito Duarte, ordered the lieutenant colonel César Tanner to take appropriate action. The policemen ordered the administrative detention of two police officers for 72 hours.



    "Unfortunately it takes more a case of misconduct, but as I said before, we verified and 'cut our own flesh."     In my day, if they caught you red handed they took your $$$, threaten you/rough you up a little. If you gave them a hard way to go they'd slap you around and then drop you off in the wrong neighborhood and let you figure out how to get home.

    These guys...they got no class. Pfft.

    Society and not the individual. Most policing organization have a minority of corrupt individuals. So, it is not shocking that these types of stories come up. However, this type of story is supppppper rare.
