No Felicia, we're the sluts, we pay to give it up.
Hmmm... Well that's one way of looking at it I guess, butteye think this thread is aimed more at those sluts who want it for free. Personally, I think it's a whole lot easier to pay for the service. No jumping through hoops. Of course, with my incredible good looks & charm, I haven't had a free ride in almost a decade.

Social progress is an ongoing project & society gets just a little more tolerant with each generation. We're lucky the internet (as we know it) came along when it did. 2 generations earlier, & it would have been censored. This forum wouldn't exist. Give it a half dozen generations more, & maybe we'll start losing our sexual hangups. I probably won't see it, but maybe my great grandchildren will see a future glimpse of a world without sexual intimidation & fear.

The truth is, there are some miserable, broke-ass motherfuckers on this forum who are bitter that their lives suck and they can't get laid. This is their big chance to throw stones at the girls whose images torment them, because they're pissed they can't have us.

Or, in the case of a few has-beens, they're pissed they can't be us.

You don't want to be an escort? Don't be. Don't wanna see one? Get a GF. Can't afford one? Get a fucking paper route. But fuck all of you malcontents. It's not our problem.

Now now, Nicole... Don't give the losers ideas. It's bad enough that I haven't had a newspaper actually touch my porch since the press started taking the routes away from kids & giving them to adults.

If the person selling sex is good at what they do then having sex with someone who does it for a living can be some of the best sex you can ever have.
You pay your money, have your fun,put your clothes back on and walk back out onto the street and carry on your day with a big grin on your face.
No strings ,no courtship just a financial transaction and then off you go.
It is a shame that such stigma is attached to the sex profession as it is a wonderful thing for us who like to participate.

I'm referring to the slew of threads started recently including the save Ashley campaign, the Why do TS escort and many others, you are actually one of the better ones.

Nothing wrong about caring about peoples future, but the assumption that sex work will necessarily be any worse than a more normal life is what I disagree with.
i thought Ashley just did a few photo spreads ? she posted that she was on her way to NYC .
    • Mandy , are you saying that it's too late to save Ashley !

Oh, so much to say and I'll never get the message across........ but I'll try to throw in a little information.

The vast majority of people on this sight have no idea what sex work entails. So when you see threads about sex work, they are fairly meaningless because the majority of posts are by people who are talking about their feelings about a subject rather what goes on in the real world about that subject.

That said, there is a lot of denial on the part of sex workwes regarding the effects it has on people. It is very rare for anyone to be a sex worker for any length of time and not have it have a fairly severe effect on their lives and their attitudes regarding 2 things permanently: 1) money and 2) men.

Those effects are very different from person to person, but the depth of the effects isn't as different as how it manifests itself.

This is also not to say that clients of sex workers don't also suffer effects, but I think in general they are not as deep as they are for the sex workers.

One huge irony right now is this "all sex workers are part of some global 'sex trafficking' conspiracy". While human trafficking certainly dose go on, currently it is being used as a red herring by groups who don't believe in sex work (hell, a lot of them don't even believe in non-procreational sex) to demonize all sex work. The irony is that there actually is a profound (and a lot of it bad) effect to the sex workers (as i stated above), but it has nothing to do with what the are railing against. The fact is that the majority of sex workers are not "forced" into it, unless you count a need for more money than a person could make doing any other job they could get as "forced" into it.

There was a watershed article in the Sunday New York Times Magazine about ?5? years ago which kicked off this "human trafficking" craze, and it was fairly well debunked by a series of articles on Slate. (I've listed them before here, and I'm sure a Google search of "Slate Human Trafficking Sex work" will lead to most of it.

I will say that ON THIS SITE, where guys spend lots and lots of time viewing images of sex workers and giving standing ovations, I mostly agree with those who are stating the a lot of the anti-sex work talk is sour grapes: that the guys who are spewing the venom are the "I never pay for it" group. I'm surprised no one has included what I think are more of the same - the threads about "Jenifer Paris - $1500 and hour; ridiculous" (or other girls, just using and example).

In the end, i think a lot of this has to do with the failing economy: I told a moderator on this site just about exactly a year ago: "What - there are going to be a lot more fights between the girls after the new year". Same thing - the economy; when money is plentiful, there's less animosity. Now, I'm not only hearing from guys about the girls, but constantly hearing from the girls about the "cheap tricks".

I know from people who we do business with that the whole adult business is pretty much in the toilet (despite what you'll hear from website owners claiming business is as good as ever, or the sex biz is recession proof). Perhaps the best example I can give is that out in LA, you've got girls who are used to getting $1,000 or more a scene and feature dancing just showing up at stripclubs as walk-ins and making a couple of hundred bucks a shift.

So to wrap it up, I think you'll continue to see lots of griping from all sides, because as long as the economy is in the toilet, people won't be happy, and unhappy people much more tend to blame it on anyone else than themselves. And coupled with the VAST ignorance by most people about what the business is really about, it's going to lead to misplaced blame, name calling, etc, etc, etc.
