i have not and i still maintian that a lot of surgeons need a very quick whack with a very heavy stick across their forehead on the grounds that their ethics can only improve through it

Well, let me just say I was explaining about why I was signing. I can't speak for anyone else. My motivations are hardly selfish... I don't know her any better than I know a stranger walking down the street, so what would it matter?

No, what I'm trying to say is that because I DO want her to be happy, I'd hope that she makes smart decisions with her life instead of changing all sorts of things about herself recklessly. When someone looks in the mirror and starts to say, "Look at my body! I hate this and this and this and this and this..." ...that's usually about the time to consider what's going on in that person's head and heart. I'm not at all saying Ashley's doing that, because from what I can tell reading her posts here, she isn't. But it's out of concern for her as a young, up-and-coming star that I think it's appropriate to watch out for her (and anyone else) in that regard.

Now, thankfully, Ashley seems to be an intelligent, happy young woman, and from what I can tell she seems content with herself aside from, as she pointed out, a few minor things here and there. And that's great! That's something for both her and all of her fans to be thankful for! That's not to say that, should she become unhappy with herself in some way, everyone would be justified in scolding her for it. That would be the WORST reaction to have. Instead, in that case, everyone should show their support for her by being there for her, helping her come to the right decision should she choose to take action on it, and standing by her no matter what choice she makes. Not that they should refrain from saying they think she's wrong, but they shouldn't harp on it and reject her simply because they disagree with her. People who truly care would be there for her no matter what.

I think you're right about part of the problem here, however. There ARE people who don't truly care here, voicing their opinions out of selfishness, and that's sad. But I hope I don't come across as one of them. Just like you, Allanah and some others here, I'm just hoping another fellow human being is happy.

When i was around 18-19 yrs old i havent done any surgeries yet just hormones i have a very low self esteem escpecially once im with TS girls with breast implants and facial surgeries already.
