i've never been to one, but from what i can tell, the type of girls are t-girls, usually those involved in the sex industry as well as a few who aren't but escorting. the guy to t-girl ratio is like 1:15 (one t-girl to every 15 chasers).

also, you should note there is always the classic "white older guy acting like a creep, walking up and down whispering something to the t-girls as they dance or try and mingle with others, then flashing his hi there, i'm a creep smile" when you acknowledge him. he will do this to literarily, EVERY t-girl in the vicinity to maximize his chances of scoring
