I am SOOO not trying to get involved but I must say the following.

It would have been insane for Danielle not to include her name or a "derogatory" word in her URL. You have to include one or the other if it's porn-based and you hope to be successful. The average guy seeking out TS material isn't going to:

A: Know the proper terms.
B: Care.
C: Take the time to sift through the medical non porn material if they do decided to use the "proper" terms.

Websites and advertising in general is about making things as simple as possible while still catching peoples attention. For instance... if you're promoting a Little Person event and want to get attention for the cause what do you do? If its me I'm going to use the word "MIDGET" or "DWARF" in the promotion even though I know these terms are reviled by those individuals. Why? Because there will be no confusion as to what the people will see and what you are promoting. Those are the terms ingrained in peoples minds that give a definition to the people/place/thing in question. If you use the words "Little Person" that could mean anything. Short people, kids, toys, etc... Like it or not "Tranny" "Shemale" "T-Girl" "Ladyboy" are some of the best and most accurate terms to use when you want to find adult TS material. It might not advance the cause but it will help you sell your product.

Who do you think is watching this material? Stephen Hawking? Jon Stewart? Henry Kissinger perhaps? You act like the buffoons who watch this stuff are smart enough to see the irony. They're not. The tables turned when she brought up my porn involvement? Really now? Like I said before, porn in intended to entice viewers by making girls look their best and Maury is intended to shock people by making its guests look like freaks. In this case by asking a random group of cisgender people to guess the 'gender' (incorrectly intended to mean 'birth sex') of the women on stage by hollering 'that's a MAAAAN Maury!'

Furthermore, the show could have been an opportunity to at least change the terminology people use to refer to us but Ms. Foxx was too chickenshit to ever even ask about the possibility even though she either has the clout to do so herself or could organize the other girls to invoke theirs as well.

Again, I'm not upset about her use of the word tranny. I could really care less. What bothers me is her apparent disdain for those who are when she pretty much says that everyone should just 'get over it.' She tried to come off all sweet in her 'apology' video but if you just listen to her words, she's really just blaming her critics instead of saying, 'hey, sorry I fucked up and didn't seize an opportunity to make things better for transsexuals as I continue to make a living from the fact that I'm one too.'

After she did Maury she even tried to come here claiming that transsexuals owe HER something for the 'additional exposure.' The rule that there's no such thing as bad press only works for individuals, not organizations or movements as exemplified by the recent campaigns for and against Prop H8 (Gavin Newsome). Danielle can't hold herself out as some kind of martyr but continue to brag about the trip, the limo, and the cash that came with her appearance, whether she really believes it was politically positive for transsexuals or not. She can't act like she's made some kind of sacrifice because she hasn't.
