Who would you want as a girlfriend?
Some girl in porn or a regular around the way girl(who you can intruduce to your family)?, i ask because there are so many girls in porno like 75 percent.

Shalaya is right. Not all TS/TG women are in the porn/escort business (the younger budding ones). Majority are just living life normally on stealth mode. Your assumption that most TS/TG are in porn are maybe half right based from what you could only see. This site alone ofcourse dont have much TS/TG who are non porn gurls.
Although, there's some twist to that reality..the other "half" truth. In as much as more TS/TG women are not in porn/escort per se..doesnt mean that they are not doing any hanky panky and tricking on the dl. Ive known alot of gurls who does live a double life/lives. Have day jobs, have a bf or dates guy's here and there but when theyre by alone by themselves are "hooking". Every gurl genetic od TS/TG has that fantasy of being paid for sex..They will ofcourse deny it when confronted or asked out of the blue until you caught them by the act ofcourse..Its a sad reality but its true. Im sure some guys on here at some point of another been in that situation and was frustrated finding that out for himself.

You are basing your point of view on what is most visible to you-
adult websites, videos, escort websites. There are a lot of transsexuals who have "regular" jobs- or who are in the adult industry but do not model or do films. In fact I know quite a few girls who are "showgirls" or have 9 to 5 s in NYC and other cities.
Of ocurse most men would probably not want to have a girlfriend who is in the adult business- there are a lot of jealosy and possesion issues that have to be let go of. And a man has to be able to fifferentiate the difference between work and a personal life. I think what most men fail to realize is that doing videos, escorting, etc is really a job. You show up- do what you have to do- and go home. I have never dated personally a co worker from a shoot or a client. I have made many friends- but the line is drawn for me there.
It takes a very open minded-special kind of man to accept a woman who is in the adult buisness- wether she be a ts or not.

I don't understand why people come up with all these "I would never date. . ." rules. I guess everyone has guidlines to an extent.
The two people should like, know, and trust each other fully. They should accept each other as they are. And they should be committed to each other on an emotional level.
Just my take on the matter.

Stats range pretty wide, but most TS are NOT into porn or escorting. Estimates run from 40,000 to 400,000 (and up!) TS in the USA, and only a fraction of these work in an adult industry.
Some claim that the percentage of beautiful TS who escort is much higher than the percentage of TS, but since beauty is in the eye of the beholder I won't go there.
BTW, there are several girls who post quite regularly on this site who are not in porn or escorting at all.

In my opinion, I think that Ms. Starr would be a prime candidate for a girlfriend. Even though I have not had the opportunity to meet her in person, I base this on the way that she carries herself on the HA board.
She comes accross (to me at least) as a sensitive caring person. She is willing to offer advice to the new people on the board, whether they are going through transition themself, or just an admirer of the ladies. She doesn't appear to be mean or nasty to anyone who posts here.
If I am wrong, or you don't agree, so be it (I allways seem to give people the benefit of the doubt). This is just one man's opinion and remember "Opinions are like assholes, everyone has one".
