New York Hotels
I have a ts friend from down south visiting New York in a few weeks. She is not sure what hotel to stay in. First of all checking the travel sites, most of the hotels mid-town look expensive. Then she needs privacy, a hotel where visitors can come and go without too much notice. You know the drill.
Anyone have any suggestions? Where do the visiting girls stay when they are in Manhattan? What's the right price to pay for a room? Appreciate any advice you all may have.
Thanks!

Stay somewhere near Times Square.
How am I not myself?

this is a clean, safe place a little west of Times Square on 10th Ave and 50th..
and you can still walk to everything in midtown or hop in a cab
a really great value in the very pricey Manhattan market

Avoid the Carter/Dixie, unless you want to go home with pets.
