    Default Successful Transsexual Women

Alot of guys always complain about "all" the transsexual girls being escorts and so forth. Yes, that might be true to most; I myself am in the sex business. This may be because we are so visible in the sex industry that ts women who have other careers and lives are not often thought of or seen.

I would like you to check out this link:

    http://ai.eecs.umich.edu/people/conw...successes.html
    link fixed

It profiles successful transgendered women around the globe...

In the United States, our media culture may not ready to accept transsexuals in the mainstream like in Spain, were Antonia San Juan (You MUST see her in ALL ABOUT MY MOTHER by Pedro Almodovar) and BiBi Anderson have had successful acting careers playing mostly women roles and not the token trannie street walker. But, it is nice to know that can happen. And, the greatest thing about Ms. Anderson and Ms. San Juan
is that they never tried to hide or lie about their transsexuality. It is simply who they are.

(FOR ANOTHER GREAT FILM WHICH HAS A MOSTLY TRANSSEXUAL CAST, TRY TO FIND THE FILM "MASCARA"- RELEASED BY UNITED ARTIST IN THE LATE 80'S)

    Enjoy!

    Allanah
Do you see yourself giving up escorting and running Allanah Starr Enterprises full time? Sort of like Seanchai just sitting back and collecting all the dough from his web sites.

Oh I am sorry if the link was screwed up....my bad- thanks for fixing it!

Flabby to your answer your question, yes I my plan is to someday abandon the escort work and focus mainly on my website and the video line that I am getting ready to produce and other projects. Of course this will take time and patience and a lot of hard work. I really enjoy doing that type of work because it allows an outlet for my creativity. I adore putting the photo shoots together, styling the clothes, doing the make up, etc. I have always been a creative person who is very detail oriented. I constantly scrutinize every detail on my site ann work; how it can be better.

I believe that you can be a success of the sex industry. You don't have to be a drug addict or a mess. Girls like me have to work 1,000,000 harder to make it happen for us. (I am not suggesting that men like Seanchi have not worked their asses off, if you know his story u know he has and does). Remember that most porn is owned by men, distributed by men, and produced by men. I applaud ladies like myself Joanna Jet, Gia Darling, and Foxy Angel (just to name a few) who are running their own companies, who are making it happen for themselves. I don't want to marry a millionare, I WANT TO BE A MILLIONARE.

Escorting for me is a means. It has afforded me my company, the means to transform my body, the means to support my mother, and the means to survive. I did not become an escort because I was lazy and wanted quick cash. I became an escort with hope to have a better life. When I first got to NYC 4 years ago I used to work for a madame in a run down Midtown apt. making $75 a call after she took her cut (I worked 7 days week for 5 months str8 until I was able to get my own place). My life has changed so much since, but I know girls who worked with me back then who still work for madames and do not have a place to live of their own.
The lesson learned is that you can't do this forever and you must have a plan. Life is not all about drugs, parties, or boys. I have had bad boyfriends, I have been broke, I have had no place to live; I have learned my lessons along the way. There is no reason why an escort can't
be successful. In fact, above all,I consider my self a business person.
Escorting is just part of my business.

Nice dig, Flabby Body but I do a little more than sit around collecting money from the websites, if I was doing that I wouldn't have advanced from one website (like some other webmasters). I've about 15-20 people I need to co-ordinate from photographers, designers, marketers, image retouchers, customer service, book-keepers, etc. Photograph about 15-20% of shoots myself and have a video series. It's great fun a lot of the time but it's not all that different from running any sucessful company - a lot of hard work to keep it on the rails.
Also seanchai didn't have the option to put himself in a website/videos - not being a TS

Actually a lot of the porn industry is woman based - my distribution company mainly female (including owners) and all the reps I deal with on live video, straming, PPV etc are female. My office of four is 3 female to 1 male.
TS girls who've stepped out like Alannah, Gia and Joanna have had to really step out to make themselves notice. For every one of the above girls there are 20 or more who have "big ideas" about being producers, website owners etc - they amount to be little more than, "big ideas".

only messing with you Seanchai. You've been banging my credit card for several years now cause you produce high quality, fresh stuff week after week. I know you work your ass off, but I envy the shit out of you. Most of us work hard at jobs we hate and your's is a labor of love. hope you never stop.

Default I agree, cheers for allanah

I totally agree that this is a difficult industry to get into. There is so much competition and hurdles along the way that it takes a determined and educated person to handle the ups and downs along the way. I admire FoxyAngel, Senchai, Chris, Gia, Joanna and others for the successful empires they have created from all this work. I myself like Allanah have alot of "big ideas" but I am not oneof those who will sit back and let those ideas just sit.................Ive learned alot and still learning (ask poor Senchai I email him to death, LOL). But its nice to have people who are friends in the business to guide you along, if it wasnt for the advice from Senchai and the help that FoxyAngel has given me along the way I would surely be bitting nails at this point. However just as there are a few that will help there are many that will back stab you and mislead you along the way. I started my website almost 2 years ago and I am one of the lucky that are still around, (shew)! But as one success comes along I have many other goals to set ( my own production company aimed towards the All-American Tgirls) a bigger and better website andmuch more. I too would love to give up escorting but financially to achieve those goals it just isnt possible.

    Much Respect

most of the women (if not all) on that list had the SRS (or it seems implied that they did). So much so it seems that they are saying, if not subliminally that a transgendered woman can not be successful unless she has the "final" surgery.
