There is a pattern I have noticed with remakes, if the movie was bad in the original, it mostly turns out good the second time around. If it was good in the original, it mostly turns out bad or doesn't live up to the original as people put it. Interesting thought for the day :P

If that's true then the remake of "Ishtar" w/ Jude Law and Jason Lee is gonna be the bomb.

They're remaking The Warriors. Goodness knows why because the original was perfect, although very much of its time... The director is Tony Scott, who did that mediocre remake of The Taking of Pelham 123...
Still, at least his brother Ridley is working on an Alien prequel...
