    Default Meatpacking District - NYC?

What happened to that area? This used to be a great hangout area for beautiful hung ladies about 5 years ago.

Don't tell me they've cracked down on the meatpacking district too? What's up with New York shutting down all the fine tourist areas like that?

    Default everything changes

I used to walk those streets every weekend!
it was wild, it was fun!
The streets were never dull, and you could see a wonderful sex show all night long!
All gone now. Nothing but dumb-ass yuppies on cell phones looking for restaurents.
I did a book on the night life in the meatpacking district.
    enjoy some of the pics!

Yup remember it well, the docks, the piers, the stroll, Peter Rabbit's.

Haven't been down there in years, other than driving through.

    Bittersweet memories.

    To answer the OP

    Celebrities happened............

all it takes is one celeb for NYPD to get off their ass and patrol, because GOD forbid someone is getting a knob slobbed in front of their brownstone and paparazzi shoot it....... bad press sucks!!!!!!!!
