Well with a few exceptions it seems like most of the girls are involved in some sort of way as using sex to make money. Not necessarily full blown escorting but other things. Now I know you don't do anything other than the Nite Flirt Alyssa and you don't seem to be the type that would do the pay to play thing. i dont think being 'legit' vs. looking for sex is much of a determinant.

it has more to do with are you hot or not to the girl in question.
If you were dealing with a non escort, you get a yes or no.
atleast with sex-workers its a yes or pay.

I think you're close to the mark, Alyssa.

Guys take it for granted that on a personal level, like with any other female, girls aren't always ATTRACTED to every man that tries to approach.
