That entire part of the world has no redeeming qualities - I've been in most of the countries and not Oil is Not a redeeming quality either. UAE actually uses more energy per resident than the US and we have a global Navy of 300+ ships most of which use oil to get around, plus an Air Farce with 1000s of planes burning jet fuel like you can't even dream of.
