XBOX 360's Update 7-11-09
I got to admit that I was really only interested in the improved Netflix integration. Surprisingly I wasn't too interested in playing dress up with my avatar for money. Unless I am missing something they forget to add the most basic option I was hoping for. The ability to search by (actress/actor/movie/show). Now all they offer is the ability to view certain categories on the movies that are most likely the titles the studios have paid them to promote. It also doesn't come close to displaying all of the view instantly titles that they offer. Very underwhelming update and going on your PC is still needed for the full experience (even that is lackluster). Two big thumbs down

Wow. That sucks. Yeah, region locking is bullshit. If you are going to sell the system worldwide (and reap the benefits) it should be open to all.

I think the new PSP will be region free , as it will be a download only system. That should be interesting ... and they are trying to figure out a way that current PSP owners can transfer their games and umd movies onto the new handheld.

I think they will want either the disc it self or UPC code.
Then they will prob. give you a code to dl same game/movie from PSN network

I would be truly shocked if it was free to transfer old UMD Games to the new PSP. They will probably have a $4 per title transfer fee that they claim is not for financial gain but to stop piracy.

PSP GO is not really that impressive though. Slightly smaller screen and even w/o the clunky umd drive the battery life is still 3hrs. If they had added a touch screen and camera then it would be a must buy ... as of now i'll wait and see.
