John Hughes dies from a heart attack
59 is far too young.

This makes me feel oooooold! Being a teenager in the eighties some of this guys movies had a huge impact on my formative years.

Planes Trains and Automobiles is probably my favorite comedy (Naked Gun is close too). Breakfast Club is of course a classic. Uncle Buck was great too.

It's weird how he all but disappeared after the 80's were done. I can't even remember the last film he directed. I'm not taking away from his talent or his actual movies but he kinda dropped off the face of the earth. It's like when the 80's ended, so did his career.

John Hughes (R.I.P.) 59 is definitely way to young to die.
