A bit weird, but somewhat understandable. On the other hand, I don't like their seemingly shared attitude that we're all like them by saying things like 'you have your whole life, don't rush into surgery' and 'you don't HAVE to transition.' Don't they realize that their cases are EXTREMELY RARE?!

If the rest of us are not like them but go ahead and prolong transition, I think we do more harm to ourselves than good. Not to mention that one was influenced by those who know very little of these matters which seems to me to be another example of the church sticking its nose where it doesn't belong.

I felt bad for the Micheal/Michelle story.
He changed to Micheal for his church, and he regrets doing that because his hapiness was being Michelle, and he is trapped because he really wants to go back to Michelle, but he cant afford to and he cut off all his hair. sad.

Key thing the "pastor" said was "you have to deny yourself."

He literally accepts that it's a lie.

As for the second person, he say it himself. He didn't investigate himself fully. That's why there's the Standards of Care. Nothing's perfect, but considering this is so rare (I think it's somewhere in the range of >99% of people do not transition back) the numbers speak for themselves.

At some point in the doc they claim it's somewhere around 6% who transition back. That's a tiny minority within a tiny minority.
