Adult film actress, Stormy Daniels charge report

Porn Star Stormy Daniels, otherwise known as Stephanie Clifford was arrested Saturday, July 25, 2009 at her Tampa, Florida residence. The charge was domestic battery after an altercation that transpired between the adult film actress and her husband, Michael Mosny. An official police report, written by Officer Steven Smith, lists Stephanie Gregory Clifford’s occupation as porn star.

According to the police report, when Officer Smith arrived at the home with his partner, Officer DeSouza, they found the victim, Michael Mosny, sitting on the front porch. Detectives who had already arrived at the scene had separated the couple. The report says that when Officer Smith physically observed Michael Mosny there were no obvious marks or injuries. He also described the victim as being calm and friendly. One of the previous officers on the scene, Officer Cholnik, had read Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, her Miranda rights.

When Officer Smith interviewed Stephanie Daniels aka. Stormy Daniels, she appeared to be very angry. As Officer Smith observed the home he detected signs of a physical altercation. A flower plant was in the windowsill without a plate, and a broken plate was on the floor, two candles were on the living room floor surrounded by broken glass. Michael Mosny, the victim, signed a sworn statement, but when Stephanie Clifford, aka. Stormy Daniels was asked to sign a statement, she refused and stated, “My lawyer told me never sign any papers and since I am paying him a lot of money I will not sign it.”

It was then that Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford was arrested and processed at Tampa’s Central Booking. Officer Smith then proceeded to photograph the scene using a 5 megapixel camera. The photos were downloaded and burned to a CD. Michael Mosny, Stormy Daniels’ husband and victim, was given a pamphlet regarding Domestic Violence and his rights. He was also advised that he could file an injunction against his wife should he choose to do so.

Michael Mosny’s statement reads as follows:

Michael Mosny advised that he has been married to Stephanie Clifford for 2 years. Michael’s father had been over to the house earlier and did the laundry for them. Stephanie got upset about the way the clothes had been done. She opened some mail and got more upset about some bills that had not been paid. Stephanie threw a potted plant at the kitchen sink, which was away from Michael. Stephanie then hit Michael on his head with her hands several times. Michael stood there. When Stephanie was done hitting him he walked into the living-room and sat down. Stephanie came into the living-room and threw their wedding album onto the floor and knocked candles off the coffee table, breaking them. Michael was not injured.

Post Miranda Statement:

Stephanie Clifford advised that she got upset because the way the laundry had been done. She opened some mail and discovered her husband, Michael, had not paid a bill that she had given him money to pay. Now their bank account was frozen. She threw the potted plant at the sink and knocked blankets off the kitchen counter onto the floor. She wanted to leave and Michael had the car keys. She doesn’t remember the details of how she got the keys from Michael, but she did not intentionally hit Michael. He may have been struck by her hand while she was trying to get the keys he was holding over his head. Stephanie followed Michael into the living room. Still upset, she threw their wedding album on the floor and knocked the candles off of the coffee table, breaking the candles. Michael did not hit her and she was not injured.

Stephanie Daniels was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail and was later released on $1,000 bond. An arraignment has been scheduled for September 3, 2009 at 8:30.
