There is truly a glow and beauty from a pregnant woman, perhaps the
abundance of hormones in her body aid in this.

If I were younger, or could turn back the hands of time I would be open
    to having a child.

At this juncture as I am long in the tooth, and am post op, alas that ship
has sailed, though the possibilty of being a loving, nurturing step Mom
    still exists.

i watch pregnancy and birth shows on DiscoveryHealth and TLC all the time.

and theres an amazing documentary out
(that the OP will probably cream over...)
Called "The Business of Being Born"

    http://www.thebusinessofbeingborn.com/

    Really interesting.

I'm probably TOO interested and moved by this genre.
I feel extremely cheated that i can never conceive, carry, and have my husbands baby.

I've cried on more than a few occasions, watching these shows wishing it could be me.

It does not make you any less of a woman if one is unable to push out a baby, or any less of a mom if you adopt. If you believe wikipedia, 10-15% of couples are infertile.

 ...re-read what you've just written pal. I think you've just rocketed to first place for stupidest post ever, and possibly biggest perv too (but there's a guy who likes "small penis humiliation" who might still be the champ on that one).
    Fuck off asshole.
    Charming.

I'm just guessing here but a) you're a twisted little screwball and b) there's no comeback, other than calling you names, to "fuck off asshole".

Yikes, I'm getting back in my box as soon as I write this.

When the Europeans were leading the world in SRS-development they were trying for years (unsuccessfully) to make trans women fertile & capable of reproduction.

The idea, as they had it was to transplant in ovaries & a uterus from a corpse, and then cut the baby it like a c-section once pregnant (because the hips wouldn't be correct to birth a baby the way a GG would).

The problem was, back then, they didn't have anti-rejection medications so every patient they tried it on would die an extremely painful death as their bodies rejected the foreign tissue.

On one hand I am surprised no one has tried to resurrect the idea- it would potentially be a safer way of administering estrogen. But, those anti-rejection meds open up another set of potential problems (cancer, death, sometimes they don't work and the organs have to come out).

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

The fact that they're being brought into a world of hate, intolerance, pain, disease, death, destruction and futility?

i'm sure my feelings about it are linked to my dysphoria.
But even if i could carry and birth a baby, i would still consider myself 100% Transgender, not any more female.

anyway. thanks for the pickmeup Phobun
