I like the live Roger Waters album, from the tour when he had Doyle Bramhall II and Snowy White on guitars. Two great musicians. I got into that album after seeing Doyle supporting Clapton a few years ago in Manchester. He's gone on to play with Clapton, & now appears to be a fixture in the band.

A band that's just been mentioned/recommended to me, which shamefully I've never listened to before ... this is good though:

Incredible song, I heard this album for the first time when I was bumming through Germany, many years ago now. I couldn't believe that I'd never heard of this guy. Sadly, he died in a swimming accident, I believe, saving his son's life but giving up his own. Randy California, RIP my man.

Anyone else remember Rockpalast? I used to be able to pick that up on a German TV station ..
