Eric Clapton, Edge of Darkness, theme to the cracking 80's BBC thriller of the same name, and ten times better than the unnecessary movie remake from last year. If you've ever seen that nuclear train disappearing into the London darkness, you'll recognise this and shiver.
Slowhand's finest composing moment too, imho.
