The writer Heathcote Williams died a few weeks ago, a maverick figure who had fingers in lots of pies but never courted publicity preferring to let his work do the talking. He wrote a lyric of aggressive anger which Marianne Faithfull recorded on her album Broken English, with explicit lyrics that led to it being banned in Australia. It is not my kind of music, and not really a song given that Faithfull rants rather than sings, and the backing music is close it seems to Velvet Underground or Jefferson Airplane if anyone remembers them. This link has the lyrics on screen.
