    Interview With The Vampire

    John Carpenter's Vampires

    Bram Stoker's Dracula

The Hammer films of yesteryear, anything with Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Bela Lugosi, or Frank Langella will always be classic for years to come.

That was a strange one, indeed. Unlike any other vampire movie I've ever seen. It's haunting and sticks with you for days on end.

Without a doubt Let the Right One in. I've never seen a vampire movie that even remotely compares (in my mind).

    That movie broke my heart.

Watching Let the Right One in was like reading Octavia Butler's Fledgling, it just gave me a completely different respect for the genre of Vampire lore.

It's hard to beat Blade, and the movie has to get bonus pts for having him drive a 68 Charger (its a 68, watch for the taillights in the... 1 scene that show them clear enough to see).

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

Also like Nosferatu, and the Blade series.

And I enjoy the writings of the late African-American
    authoress Octavia E. Butler
