Was one of the coolest birthday presents ( or presentations ) I got. My dad said my present was the size of a wallet. So I got it thinking...what the heck is this? You know...as a kid you probably thought something that size was lame.
I opened it up and it was the Space Invaders cartridge! I flipped. Played that for ages. I was in luck too. The video store across the street had the foresight to rent Atari games. I played Spiderman and Keystone Kapers (still one of my favorites).
As for games I owned, Frogger, ET, Popeye, Atari Circus (although I didn't know you needed paddles for that) and a bunch of others I can't remember.
On a side note, a website that I visit regularly, called Gizmodo is having a retrospective on the late 70s / early 80s this week http://www.gizmodo.com.....seeing as though that was when most things went from analog to digital.
