i have never heard of this site. can i get a brief synopsis of what happened

First page. I posted the exchange between Cindi and Danielle.

Danielle is angry because some posters on LIB are allowed to express anti-transgender feelings.

Cindi states that LIB is a site that includes differing opinions.

Thank you for the hello. As I said in the first post on my site, I had never heard of Danielle. She didn't like comments on my site, so she made and put up a 9 minute video on YouTube called something like LUKEIS BACK is a hateful site, and then she went on in her video to trash me and the site. THen she sent me a link to it, and started e-mailing me crazy rambling letters.

If you put yourself in my place I think you would probably have reacted stronger then I did. I politely answered her 4(?) e-mails and posted her video on my site. I didn't answer e-mails #5 & 6 because they were just getting more and more bizzare and were also repiticious.

In her comments she would say I'm going to the lawyers about this site in one post, then, why can't we all get a long in the next post, then more rudeness, bring it on, then she told us she had mental problems and said she didn't mean it about the lawsuit.

I think at this point she should just stop coming to the site. It obviously upsets her and there is no reason for her to argue with people. The commenters on my site are sometimes harsh, but you have to have a thick skin and sometimes you can win them over.

Wendy Williams has been very open with those on my site and even did a live chat once. While there may be a few hard heads still, she has won over most of the crowd.

I want all viewpoints on my site and welcome all kinds of people. But people have to realize that doing so (welcoming all viewpoints), mean welcoming those that I or you don't agree with also. That's the point of having open comments.

A couple things...

*I agree that People need to have a thicker skin on the internet. There are a lot of pussys who like to hide behind a computer and talk shit.(colonel). Getting upset about meaningless blogs and their followers just isn't worth the stress.

*It is great that you welcome all kinds of view points. I for one welcome our new NAZI overlords who have free reign to express their opinions on your board as well if they feel that they need to. Free speech rocks. (even if it is hate!) I commend your site for welcoming ALL points of view and people

Freedom of speech is probably the greatest right we have in this country and once we start censoring hate speech what will we ban next? it would only be a matter of time before the 6th Reich comes marching in.

As you can see my mood changed when you emailed me taking a more sensitive approach to our communication and you promised me change. However that is not what happened.

I got angry again and then after several personal emails from supporters I decided to take a more open hearted approach to this entire thing, that is where we are today.

Don't try to come in here and make me look like a mental case Lady. Fuck you and your website, I could care less about your support of hateful speech however if you play with fire guess what? YOu OUGHT to get burned!

Crazy or not! Your continuous repetitive behavior in support of some of the members on your site was the main reason why I came in there. I didn't even make my first post until you denied my right to ask you to moderate your site. You SAID NO! Remember???

I stood up here once for what I was very offended for - child po-rn and I got such horrific replies to my deep concerns. Now the site seems to be doing a lot better with helping the internet be safe, such as installing a filter keeping non-members from seeing pictures. It doesn't work too well but it is an attempt. I am glad that I pushed that change, even if I came out with tons of scratches and a black eye, or maybe in a wheel chair.

As far as the lawsuit I did report those comments to www.glaad.com. Maybe as time goes on I can be an activist with some trans group in LA, maybe I can even start a tranny adult worker support group.
