I agree I see a more cautious Mir going to business and executing an array of subs as for St Pierre hes a stud but he'll be cautious too and do more wrestling that usual TKO for that bout

Bonnar well I hope he gets a win he really needs it but I dont want to see Coleman take a beating

If it stays standup Lesnar will win, if it goes to the ground Mir will submit him! GSP should win easy! Fitch and Thiago is a toss up! I hope Henderson beats Bisping. METAL MULISHA!!!! and i hope Mark Coleman finally gets put to sleep! UFC 100 should be the shit but i cant wait for Griffin vs. Silva!!!

I watch MMA such as UFC, WEC, and ShoXC. I think Lesnar is going to win over Mir. Lesnar is a big guy and has that power. A lot of people doubted Lesnar in the beginning, but now he is beginning to change people's minds.

I tune in if I'm in the mood to watch gay S&M sex porn -- which isn't very often. Even Salon.com (or was it Slate.com) described the mid game of MMA as "looking a lot like sex." Except it's sex with one guy having "mounted" the other and doing the "ground and pound" to the other.

Shit even the language the announcers use is full of gay S&M sex porn double entendres.

Definitely the gayest sport ever to get on national tv.

    Ugh. how original.
ground and pound is descriptive and it rhymes. so is lay and pray, sprawl and brawl etc. it's a quick and easy way to say what's going on in a match.
Is being able to see the gay in everything a gift or a curse?

Also: what the fuck is the "mid game"? are you talking about the ground or the clinch?
if by ppv you mean national, then yes. otherwise not so much.

As far as the actual topic. i fucking love the sport! 100 should be good times. the mir/brock fight is a tough one to call. we didn't get to see how frank handles stand up pressure in his last fight. we know brock is able to land blows on dudes from the randy battle. randy also has better head movement and footwork than mir. brock is going to out wrestle/position frank, but i hope he's been working on his sub defense (hint: he has). Prediction? brock avoids the sub and wins by (t)ko.

gsp/alves: avles ko (fingers crossed). Alves bum rushes, has heavy hands, and out worked a good wrestler in hughes. gsp has to keep him down and grind a decision. will he be able to close the distance without getting tagged. maybe, but he'll have to do so multiple times and i have a feeling he's going to get caught.

fitch/thiago: fitch out works him for a d while avoiding the knock out. thiago is a big ? in the ufc. i think he has the composure, but i don't think he's fought someone like fitch. he could surprise everyone tho.

hederson/bisping: hendo! don't see bisping knocking out, submitting or out wrestling henderson. it might go to the cards, but even then i expect henderson to out point him.

akiyama/belcher: sexyama by sexiness. belcher is just not as fashionable.

coleman/bonnar: bonnar by virtue of the fact that coleman is old. but man do i want the hammer to win. his last fight was awesome! not technically, but that dude showed so much heart the entire crowd was chanting his name. some of the guys i was watching with were shogun fans an even they started rooting for him. this could be the ugliest, most dramatic fight of the night.

the undercard has great fights too. i'm praying we get to see jon jones. that guy is fucking amazing!
