imagine if this was a 6th or 7th game of a world series ----

    but it wasn't ---

Manuel started him the very next game ---and I am glad he did ---had a great game --

    (Nieve could be something huge!!)

but yeah ---I have never liked Castillo --never since day 1 ---

actually I think he carried himself with alotta class. didn't shy away from media attention

took all the bs from Yankee fans on Sat and Sunday without being bitter

    handled it like a man

I'm sorry --but that Yankee that criticized KRod --was ridiculous ---

he did apologize --realizing he had made a mistake ---

    but still ---

so Reyes is off to the new stadium in Miami. Hanley moves over to third base and the Marlins now set their sights on Pujols. Mets are now the Pittsburgh Pirates of NL East. In a town that has the Yankees, the Mets have become more irrelevant than at any time in its 5 decade history.

how a no hitter and a 37 year old knuckleballer have changed a team's prospects. I have to admit Santana's miracle got me a little choked up.
Making the post season dance doesn't seem all that crazy

Whoa.............hold on there flabby. Let's not get too excited and blow the load in early June ! Full disclosure, I'm not a Met fan, but I'm not a Met hater either. Who doesn't like what Collins is doing there....and good for Santana.....he deserves it....but you know, and I know the Mets don't have the 3, 4 and 5 starters nor the bullpen to be playing meaningful games in late September. I wish them well, but if they're a .500 team at years end, I'd be shocked.
