We call Heineken and beers like it Lager over here.

So Good lagers are:

Staropramen, an excellent Czech Lager brewed in Prague. My personal favourite.

Budweiser Budvar, again Czech and the real Budweiser.

Kronenberg 1664, but only in a bottle and only if brewed in Strasbourg, not the shit they brew in the UK.

Stella is ok but full of chemicals and very often leads to aggression when too much is imbibed, hence when I ran pubs we called it "Wifebeater"

Carlsberg Export and the highly alcoholic Elephant beer are pretty good too, again bottled.

Peroni Nastro Azzuro is nice with some antipasti

Of course in the UK we have many breweries that brew traditional ales, rangeing from the big guys down to micro-breweries.

I used to work for Hook Norton and their Best Bitter is a nice session drink.

Anyone up for discuusing their favourite Single Malts or Armangacs then let me know.

JW Dundee's Honey Brown Lager
etc...

I'll admit Guinness,is a very good beer.
Grolsch,absolutely not,also that's the sound you make when you had one too many.
Amstel Light,a light beer come on.
Stella Artois-I do not believe I've had one.
Smithwick's-same as above.
JW Dundee's Honey Brown Lager-same as above.

try an Amstel and you will love it. its not your standard light beer

Amstel is very good,at the moment the number 1 in my fridge,but yeah when i go out i always drink heineken
