That had to be the worst worded box i have ever seen. I was kinda shocked when I found out she was deaf but I thought Olivia was a good performer but to call her dumb OMG. And really this fool should've known better than to allow it to be released like that.

I didn't even know Olivia Love was deaf. I can see where her anger comes from. I have a few deaf friends and they would be angry if someone called them dumb just because they couldn't speak like normal people. I hope she gets the wording changed.

FYI i spoke with steve this morning and he said the box covers had been fixed already .. and it was an honest mistake ..

I urge all the girls in the industry to stand up for Olivia Love. DO NOT WORK FOR DEVILS FILMS OR GOODFELLAS. If they call you to do a shoot for them, turn them down flat and let them know that they cannot disrespect and slander people and think they can get away with it. Regardless what your opinions of Olivia Love or DF are, it was a simple request by a model to have ONE word removed that was, at best, completely ignored, and, at worst, ridiculed. Contract or no, this shows a complete lack or respect for the model and a disregard of any professional ethics. Not that I'm claiming the Industry is an ethical place to do business (it should be), but it is an Industry that is build upon a symbiotic relationship of producers and models.

Anyway. So, do you read the most, maybe make a comment, and then move on to the next post, thinking, 'oh, that's a shame'. Or do you pause and give this some serious thought. I, for one, will be removing all DF links on any of the sites I own, and will stop promoting their DVD's on my personal Blog. I've also emailed them regarding my feelings about this box cover and their treatment of Olivia and asked that they issue an apology. I've emailed AVN and asked them to also stop promoting this DVD release until a public apology is issued. I will also continue to post about this on my Blog until an apology is issued.

Quite simply, this industry is not as big as you'd imagine and your personal decision to support or not support a producer impacts their bottom line. The TS/TG community is in large part fractured with petty arguments and differences of opinions which are damaging as a whole and contribute to the 'silly trannies' line of reasoning which permeates 'main stream' society.

I'm not asking for a revolution, just that we support those in the Industry who have gone before us in whatever way possible when things like this come up, putting aside personal feelings and monetary gain. There are those who will scoff and say, what is one person going to do against a production company like DF...? To them, I would say, 'Lamborghini.' From farmer and Ferrari supporter to auto mogul in large part because one stupid remark made by a Ferrari representative.

Olivia (and Meghan) is a pillar in the community and has worked hard to break stereotypes. She was influential in my decision to become part of the Industry and I think she deserves my support in fighting this injustice and making sure that it doesn't happen to anyone else.

So, please, if you can, do more than just post a comment saying you agree that this move and treatment by DF was terrible. Get involved personally as Meghan encourages. Be courteous and professional in your correspondence but remain firm that a public apology and reissue of the box cover is needed to make this right.

just spoke to steve and he cant believe how far this has gone and yes over one word .. he said it was fixed the day she texted and asked.. there was also another text error on ariel's name so he had no problem fixing her text request as well and as many times as he said he was sorry and didnt mean for it to come across that way this whole thread should have never been posted as it was taken car of and already done. i do feel bad for olivia but also when we do sign our release forms where done. what they do and want to do with the content is not up to us .. stop and think for a min how many covers are raciest or depict even GG girls in a bad way IE watch this whore get stuffed in every hole and blah blah blah doesnt mean thats true or how they really are in there personal life ... i dont think it was fair to post that conversation on here for people to try and judge devils films as i have worked for them and most of all the girls have and many even Kimber James have gotten there start with them and nun of us has ever had a problem with them. Its also having a thick skin .... and for god sakes it porn a fantasy .. not real !!! but to the main thing is it was fixed right away and there was just no need for this whole post... im not a fan of people bashing sites and girls or well anyone for that matter its just not right . but at least its all taken care of and done with ..

I disagree. It wasn't an honest mistake. Based on the conversation posted it was an egotistical producer trying to be "mr. big man" in all of this and "no one's going to tell me what to do". The guy needs sensitivity training. Unfortunately I think he's lived in a world in which PC isn't really thought of much. PC doesn't mean you have to "cripple" your business..but some general common sense should have told him to say this...

"You're right Olivia. I've told the graphics department to fix it. I apologize"

That's all that should have happened. It didn't..and now he's lost clientele. That's bad business sense.

Yeah... the 'thick skin' thing just doesn't sit well with me. As a minority myself, I've probably heard every Asian insult there is. I consider myself pretty 'thick skinned' but I'll tell you what, it doesn't stop stinging.

Anyway, I'm glad the cover was reissued and I hope that an apology will still be issued. I do my homework and I realize that many famous models have worked and will continue to work for DF, and that's fine. Heck, if I was expecting a call from them, or had a vested interest in the company, I might even have a different outlook.

Please let me be clear in stating that I am not bashing DF or GF Productions at all. In fact, I quite like their DVD series' and promote them regularly. I don't know about all the other allegations and won't speculate or judge on those.

I just think an apology is in order. Fixing the box was a great concession but as far as I'm concerned, a simple, 'I'm sorry' goes a long way. My parents used to say they're the two hardest words to spit out sometimes but that's why they're so powerful. They messed up and should issue a retraction and an apology. If it truly was an 'accident,' a simple statement saying so would go a long way towards future credibility.

When I learned about this last night I was really disturbed and sickened.

Everyone who knows Olivia knows that is she is bright, articulate, reads lips, and can talk too. She communicates quite well with those that are not deaf.

This might have been a sick joke for these people, but it was really gross, in bad taste,degrading, and PREJIDUCED & IGNORANT.
