Shemale Parties in NYC and Race

Hi guys,

I am interested in attending one of the weekly shemale parties in NYC for the first time. I know that all are welcome and stuff, but do MEN of Color ie Blacks or Latinos feel comfortable there? As a Black Men I do recognize that unfortunately not everyone will accept me and I and I am fine with that but I just wanna make sure that the ladies won't look at me funny or refuse to dance with me because of my ethnicity....if one or two do then it's not a problem but if most do then I'll be better off staying home lol

Please keep this thread clean I don't want it to turn into a black/white thing I am just inquiring about how people of color feel when they are at those parties.

Since the President is a “Man of color” who was elected by a majority caucasian country maybe its time to let some of your racial sensitivity go.

Why not just go to the party and not act like a rap video stereo type (sport jersey with matching hat and gold chain) and see how it goes?

I'm not black so I can't speak to the issue to precisely; however, I don't see you having any issues at one of these events. I've only been to Slinky's party, but there were black guys there and I didn't sense any problems.

You might want to find one or two other guys going from here to meet up with though; you'll be more comfortable if you have people to hang out with.

I don't know if this is good advice. (and no I don't dress like that so don't go there) I've seen girls go for guys wearing a dirty ball cap or scruffy looking guys. It's not even about having a certain look. The truth is, some girls won't go for certain guys, just because of........ something.

That being said, there's something for everyone there. So to the OP, you don't have anything to worry about.

I agree with you that girls pick who they are attracted to for what reason every one has there preferences when it comes to that. You can get rejected by a girl for many reasons but the original poster seems to think its because of his race.

I was exaggerating to make a point. Which is if you act like a stereo type you will probably get treated like one. If I showed up to one of these parties with a mullet and my front teeth missing im sure the girls would think I was white trash.

I have never heard a black guy complain about certain stereotypes like having a big dick. Interracial porn has become its own genre which is really just black guys fucking white girls for the most part. I don’t see to many black guys complaining about it perpetuating stereotypes.

If a girl isn’t attracted to black men then its automatically racism. Im sure there are plenty of black women and women of other races that aren’t attracted to white guys. But if I got rejected buy a girl I don’t get to use my race as an excuse.

If you get rejected its probably because you’re a jerk or for the way you look. Maybe the girl doesn’t think you have much money. What ever the reason im sure race is pretty far down the list in this day and age.

In 8 months it will be 2010 we are living in the future that a lot of science fiction stories take place. The civil war ended 144 years ago. The civil rights act of 1964 effectively ended the jim crow laws and that was 45 years ago. Like I said before a “man of color” is the president and he was elected by a majority white country. I think its time to let the racial sensitivity go at least a little bit.

dude, think about it like this. some people would love to go to the parties but can't, maybe because they live too far away, don't have the money, etc. so based on that fact alone, you have all the reason to go. and as far as your ethnicity concerns, did you stop to think that there may be girls or other guys there that share your ethnicity? since you've never been to a party before, it sounds to me like you feel scared- because you don't know what to expect. but once you walk through the door, you're not going to feel out of place, as every guy is there for the same reason... the girls. no one's gonna look at you funny or be unfriendly to you unless you give them a reason to. so instead of thinking of reasons not to go... just go!
