Why does she hate both marriage AND America?
Success lies not in being the best, but in doing your best.

Her point was that states who want concrete, sex-defined marriage laws make it so transitioned people can only marry into same sex marriages. A postop in Texas that wants to get married can only marry a GG. Same for Tenn, Ohio, etc.
If gay marriage is so evil, then these politicians & religious groups are forgetting that by the same legislation, they're essentially legalizing gay marriages whenever they involve one person who has transitioned.
And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

Your point leads us to the dog's breakfast in the UK (leaving aside politicians' popular peccadilloes) in which, as a result of the bloody mess of the 2004 Gender Recognition Act, if a partner in a marriage transitions, then the marriage must be annulled for that transition to be legally registered. All because the god-spotters et alia were so terrified of allowing same-sex marriage. So now the UK Gummint is going to be hauled before the European Court of Human Rights yet AGAIN, this time for forcing people to divorce against their wills in order to access one of their Human Rights......
I tell you, they can fix bust pipes under their swimming pools and fiddle their Capital Gains Tax like there's no tomorrow, but see trying to make an intelligent law.....
