I have never done anal before,giving or recieving,and don't know if I would ever get a chance to.I have often wondered how you prepare for anal sex.I mean having anal sex is different from having vaginal sex,everything is not all that clean back there,neither are pussies but you get what I mean.
When you go out on the town for a good time and you meet a guy at a club and just so happen to sleep with him on a one-night-stand,I am pretty sure you don't give yourself an enema or "douche" every night thinking that you are going to get some dick.

Common sense says that if you shave, take a shower, etc. for most formal encounters with new people, having impeccable hygiene for first time anal intimacy would seem to follow.

Obviously from a cleanliness standpoint it would be best to give yourself an enema (or do it with your partner) beforehand to make sure your back passage is cleaned out.

However, this is not exactly good for your intestinal health. Just like any other part of your body, your rectum and colon have a fairly delicate balance, and flushing them out all the time can affect their ability to do their jobs.

I generally save deep cleanings for first time play with a new partner or for special occasions where your back door will be getting an usually long or extensive workout.

The rest of the time you should be fine if you just visit the bathroom beforehand, have good basic hygiene, and make sure that your diet is healthy. If you're getting enough fiber, especially leafy greens and fruits, you really shouldn't have too much of a problem with backed up waste. Evacuating your bowels before sex should be fine.

The most important thing though, and the thing that it seems like a lot of people forget about, is that if you're really that uncomfortable with coming into contact with someone else's waste then you really shouldn't be going anywhere near their ass. Learn to not take sex and your bodily functions too seriously and if an unexpected mess occurs you can both laugh about it.
