Thanks for the information Gia
Thanks for the information Gia and the confirmation. He seems really good but really i think I will be using the cash at some point to making my facial features look better. Need to have my chin rounded off and some other things. Now just to find the right cosmetic surgeon to do it.
Has anyone had experience with Dr. Lee? he is in Beverly Hills and works with Gary Alter.
cheers

Supposedly the yanhee practice in thailand also does this surgery, but I don't know anyone who has had it done there.
It would be worth pointing out that the surgery only aims to address voice box pitch ranges. Pitch is only one of the characteristics to think about when talking (lol get it? taking...) about voices.
The next time you're in a crowd listen to how the guys versus the girls talk. Guys typically talk in a very consistent monotone voice pitch-wise. Girls are far less likely to talk like that, which is why GG's with really deep voices aren't assumed on the phone to be trans- the pitches are low, but their pitch use is more of a variable than what a constant monotone male-voice would be.
However, a pitch-range change from a surgery like this, if successful, would have obvious advantages- like when sneezing, laughing, yelling, etc. which may not be possible for some without surgery.
And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

Sarah yeah
See Sarah that is what I really want is to take away the bass volumes when coughing and such like that actually. But from what i have been reading its not worth it sounds like.
Guess i will just smoke two packs a day and really go for a low voice.
Cheers

Back in the day, when I was first transitioning I was insecure about many
things like we girls can be.
I asked my endocronologist at the time if he could hook me up with a
speech pathologist.
I met with her once, she told me I was fine, and wouldn't need her
services.
I've since done tons of radio and tv work, do a great deal of public
speaking, and the true litmus test is the "mamn on the phone" I get.
I've had lots of other surgeries, but I will leave the voice alone.
