Well, long-term, you really have two choice -- get castrated or go whole hog. It's not healthy to be on AAs permanently, it's also a pain in the ass to take pills every day. Once I get an orchi or SRS, I can just take my shots (I took pills alone for 3 years and then started adding shots too at the beginning of this year).

I know this is horrible, but I'm waiting to see what happens when my grandma passes and they sell her properties. She accepts me fine now and I'm her favorite grandchild (though I've been distant since I moved). I don't know if that means I'll get any more than other grandchildren but at least I'm not written out of the will. If I get a hefty chunk (e.g. $10,000), then I'm getting SRS. If I just get a little bit, I'll just get the orchi ($2,000). SRS is almost definitely in the future, but if it's going to take me until after I'm 30 to save up (I'm 23) then I'll get the orchi first.
