Definitions, definitions...
Hmmm... I'm relatively new here, and relatively new to this exquisite world of the "Third Sex", so I would like for any of you (particularly Allanah or Wendy or any other "girl") to please clarify some definitions for me...
Shemale
Transsexual
Hermaphrodite
Transgender
Tranny (a diminutive, I think)
Sheboy
Ladyboy
Boneca (which I think is a Portuguese expresion)
or any other similar words...
Seems like everybody is using this or that definition without really mind the exactness of the word.

Ladyboy is derived from the Thai "kathoey"; a similar Japanese term is "new half" and in the Philippines "bakla".
Some transsexuals--particularly who consider themselves "non op" as opposed to "pre op" (not intending to have SRS) and who work in adult entertainment--have laid claim to the term "shemale" as being more honest.

travesti = transvestite/transsexual
Both are used commonly to refer to transsexuals in Brazil.

One of the first shemale movies that I saw was a brazilian production titled " Las Bonecas son Depravados" or something like that. I didn`t know what it meant up to now.
