Guys, I've been thinking...
I've been thinking about the yin and yang of our community. We, admirers, lovers, clients, chasers have this symbiotic relationship with these ladies. They fill a very special and unique need in our lives, and we help provide them with a livelihood. But what is our responsibility, beyond financial, to support them? They live on the margins of society, in part because of us. How many time have we heard them complain about guys who love them in private and scorn them in public?
Don't we owe it to them to be advocates for wider acceptance of them by society? If so how do we do this? If not, why?
I don't have any answers. I'm looking to hear what you think. Do you ever think about this stuff?

If you aren't supporting these ladies publicly, that's an issue you'll have to take up with yourself. You and those like you. I, personally, don't have the problem.

i would love to see all TG people accepted fully into society and for the admirers/fans/etc to not be ashamed to be seen with us in public, to have family and friends know about us etc
We are human beings with feelings/emotions too no different to anyone else... I get asked alot by guys why wont i go out on a date etc, not when they only want to take me a tranny club where its safe for them etc, they wont take me to the pub, or to cinema etc
But its not just tied to the TG scene..

For what it's worth I take Vivi out every chance I get. And she's just the homegirl. Never an issue to be seen with her anywhere. Except at stripclubs, those lesbians have the hots for her.......................tmi moving right along.

I don't know why people are so afraid to take TS out in public. I had a TS girlfriend and we went to the movies, out to eat, to clubs (straight), shopping, and shit like that. I had no problem with it. Yeah, people would stare and whatnot. I would hear them whispering and shit like that, but they never said anything to my face.

This is a topic that comes up a lot. I think it is only second to the "Am I gay" threads.
Personally, it's not an issue. I've been out to dinner, clubs, bars, etc. with T-gurls and TG people (No necessarily 'gurls'). Introduced them to friends, invited them to parties. Friends and associates know of my interests and proclivities. Not a problem.
My family would know, but even =I= don't talk to them. Why would I subject a gurl that I like to that kind of trauma?
Some of us do, some of us don't. The gurls know the difference and judge us accordingly.

im all for everyone being accepted. who cares what people think. ts/gg, who cares. all a personal taste. but to be advocates for hookers? is that what u r asking? we support them so we have to be supporters of them? u r kidding right? they are hookers by choice. if u decide to be part of there world thats up to u, but dont ask people to be advocates of whores. we dont all use there service and many feel that what they do is so very wrong. it degrades women and makes the an object, nothing more. also this is a porn site. there is nothing socially redeeming on this site. u ever read some of the sick shit thats on here? you give them your money while throwing away your self respect. how about going home and thinking of all the other people in the world that live on the fringe that u could support.
