Twitter isn't all that special but I guess it has it uses. If you are into texting you can use it as a replacement but only if your friends are using it also. However, some people have gotten into trouble for not knowing how to send tweets to just one person vs the world.

twitter is also a pretty great business tool. i've gotten a number of clients from it, and can follow industry updates as they happen.

I'm on twitter, but haven't updated it in a week. It's basically an easier way for people to spy on you.

I'm thinkin if I become a follower of someone they're gonna think I'm spying on them, which is exactly what I'd be trying to do

twitter is fun if u actually have friends. Myspace and facebook get too dramatic with so much spam and pointless notes from so many losers. Twitter is cool cuz its simple. Once u start adding people u DONT know, it can get pretty annoying, but a lot of the celebs actually talk to u on there

For those on facebook, just to let you know, they own anything you put up on their site, if you put it up there you forfiet the rights to it. I've had many artist friends lose their work to that site.
