I use this to join files http://www.fauland.com/af7.htm

Just drag and drop files to it in and order them from first to last part if not already ordered. The files don't have to have .001 numbering any extension will do and even accepts files with no extension.

NickTheQuick you can't just add .001 extension to the clips and join them unless they really are parts of bigger file...if you can play each small clip they are not parts of bigger file...if you wan't to join those kinds of clips together you must use some video joined not file joiner.

    I recommend using MPC
    http://www.free-codecs.com/download/...er_Classic.htm
I never use Windows Media Player...the website also has some other usefull like codecs and addition to MPC to play .rm and .mov movies.

Other good to have is VLC which can play many files without need to install codecs

Many ppl also recommend MPlayer which similarly doesn't need some codecs installed to play

here's some guide about those players
