I have two, both rescued from a shelter and neither appreciates it.
One appears to be a manic depressive autistic who hates me no matter what I do.
The other can't distinguish between love and food!
But I love them both.

She's rescued as well, she is going to be 8. She's from the San Francisco animal shelter. Supposedly she was found in a van with a bunch of other cats. She's Calico and is very playful, like a dog. Very very loving and loves to scratch, I have tons of battle wounds.

Yeah they don't sit next to me when I'm watching tv, to come next to me when i sleep and seem only interested in me when I feed them.....but the times when I'm sick in bed....and they come on the bed and sleep next to me to keep me warm and safe....that's what makes it all worth while.
After all they are my kids.
