I see what they were going for but it can be misread. Think it is more a statement on all politicians and not just Obama. After all he didn't draft the thing himself.

anyway- i understand what Murdoch was trying to get across.
but the old practice of comparing black people to monkeys is one that should not be brought back.
not to mention the fact he is depicting our president's assassination. i dont remember Bush, as hated as he was, being depicted as slain in any major publications.

I figured the monkey represented the devolving trickle downers and tax cutters who got some of their failed policies written into the bill and then failed to vote for it anyway. Next time the dems will write the bill themselves. (okay, I didn't figure that...but that's my spin)

Probably a bad choice..but not everyone jumps to the same conclusions in life..so lets give the cartoonist the benefit of a doubt. All conservatives aren't repressed racists...just like all liberals aren't communists.
