I Like horror movies, but I don't understand the need to remake a slasher flick that had so many sequels. I prefer new, and original ideas. And all of the remakes I've seen, have been pretty bad and unnecessary IMO.

Seen it last week. Wasnt bad. Follows the same formula as the old ones, so not many suprises. It was fun. Lets be honest, none of the Friday the 13th films (with the exception of "the final chapter") were great films, so it isnt hard to outdue them all.

im interested in it because supposedly its from the same people that did texas chainsaw massacre, and the first TCM flick had a special way of making you feel sorry for the poeple in the film and hope that they make it. The old friday the 13th flicks were more or less teenagers fucking in the woods, jason seeing them, guy dies, girl runs, trips, hides somewhere, he's behind her, kills her, next group of teens, repeat. Hopefully this one has a little bit mroe depth

Another "hollywood" remake that will flopped,they should have taken notes from the halloween reamke and that is no one likes remakes.You guys/girls have to realize that it's just getting started
