The problem here is you're trying to project your contextual reality as a male with the way your brain experiences it. What if you're brain was less lateralized and organized as a female? No doubt that even with a penis, the experience and circumstances around becomming aroused would be vastly different. Certainly not the same state of aroused excitement that abruptly releases followed by a refractory period as a typical male.
