I would just add that I'm basing my "answer" on personal experience. I've done some not so nice things to an X of mine who cheated on me....busted her to her new man and then some. In the end...looking back I wish I was just adult enough to let it slide. There's a lot of wisdom on this thread....from the peeps saying "let it go".
