    being into classic sci-fi,and anticipating the new remake of The Day The Earth Stood Still,I just recently watched the original 1951 version

    My hope is that they have not butchered it like they have done to other classics

    I enjoyed the 1953 version of H.G.Wells' War of the Worlds,but when I saw the Tom Cruise version I thought it really sucked.

    "antropophagus" is a real disappointment, though the opening beach scene has a beautiful dead air
