Cold Fish - Japanese flick, don't get anywhere near this movie. 2 1/2 hours wasted

Angel-A (2005) - Luc Besson film, exceptional!!! Starring Jamel Debbouze about a street hustler who's at then end of his rope and about to commit suicide when he meets a woman about to do the same. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

A Serbian Film (2010) - a unadulterated, disturbing, raw movie about the filming of a porn which includes pedophilia & necrophilia. I have no idea how this movie was "green lit." It actually got good reviews, just be prepared for hardcore nudity & blood.

Hard Candy (2005) - intense emotional & physical movie about a man (Patrick Wilson from Little Children) who meets a twisted, very underaged teen (Ellen Page - Juno star) over the internet and invites her to his house. The entire movie is set in the house, there are only two actors and the movie managed to keep a good pace. Lots of surprises...

Little Children (2006) - character-based movie starring Kate Winslet & Patrick Wilson about a wife & a husband from 2 different marriages struggling with temptation & vulnerabilities. VERY GOOD!!!

Bobby - you sure see a LOT of films. Little Children I saw when it came out and agree with you. I simply cannot track down A Serbian Film despite many folk praising it to the skies.

I don't think that A Serbian Film has received classification in the UK yet, Prospero.

    I stand corrected.

Stavros, old chap, from what you've said before I had the impression you lived halfway up an Alp in the middle of nowhere and there you are with a local HMV. Maybe head office have closed it but the stagecoach hasn't got there yet.....

Bobby, I think you're right about Angel-A- pretty darn good.

I don't see a lot of movies anymore- gave up TV and video almost 4 years ago- but I go to the theater sometimes- finally saw Colombiana.

Zoe Saldana is gorgeous and lithe. Definitely a movie to view as a big-screen experience. Not much else to recommend it if you don't like action flicks.
