I am so saddened by this news.
I am at a loss for words and was just overcome with huge sadness.
I am a huge fan of Miss. Kitt, and had the deep honor of seeing her perform live and meet her as well. She was amazing, one of a kind.
When I saw har she was in her late 70's and had the energy on stage of a 20 year old.
Her music and songs have been a huge inspiration, I will sorely miss her style, music. and energy.
The passing od a true legend.

We lose yet another entertainer on Christmas. She will be missed!
By the way, this is Nancy Wilson, not Eartha.
William Escalade is no more. He's done his service to the site.
