Question about SRS
is the prostate gland removed or altered during SRS surgery?

no removal of prostate during standard SRS proceedure. it's the removal of EXTERNAL male genitalia and cosmeticly replacing it with female

Nope.
I still have mine. However, it will shrink with time and basically became useless. One of the advantages of being post op is the fact the vaginal canal ends very near the prostate gland giving us an extra area of sexual sensation. So if I have a good lover who can hit it, I am a happy camper!

Also, once your testicles are removed and you stop producing testosterone, your risk of prostate cancer goes way down.
