no removal of prostate during standard SRS proceedure. it's the removal of EXTERNAL male genitalia and cosmeticly replacing it with female

A prostate is fairly close to a skene's gland anyway so it wouldn't make sense to remove it.

And maybe its easier to withdraw from life
With all of its misery and wretched lies
If we're dead when tomorrow's gone
The Big Machine will just move on
Still we cling afraid we'll fall
Clinging like the memory which haunts us all

    Nope.

I still have mine. However, it will shrink with time and basically became useless. One of the advantages of being post op is the fact the vaginal canal ends very near the prostate gland giving us an extra area of sexual sensation. So if I have a good lover who can hit it, I am a happy camper!

Also, once your testicles are removed and you stop producing testosterone, your risk of prostate cancer goes way down.
